The short answer
Gym Junksters hauls junk across northeast Fort Lauderdale: Coral Ridge, Victoria Park, Imperial Point and the oceanfront towers, same day when you call in the morning. City bulk runs once a month on a 24-hour set-out window, and renovation debris never qualifies. Quoted free on site, in writing. Call or text (954) 774-0277.

Why we are in Fort Lauderdale most weeks
Fort Lauderdale is the long run: 25 to 30 minutes down I-95 or Federal, so a morning call usually gets same-day and an afternoon call gets tomorrow. Two kinds of job dominate. Waterfront ranch homes where the only path to the truck is a side yard by the seawall, and towers off Las Olas that want insurance, a freight elevator and a dock slot.
The houses here, and what they do to a job
Northeast Fort Lauderdale is mid-century modern on finger canals. Coral Ridge, Coral Ridge Country Club Estates and Bermuda Riviera are 1950s and 60s waterfront ranch homes with private docks, and a great many are being gutted, which produces terrazzo, popcorn ceilings, jalousie windows and sixty-year-old built-in cabinetry the city will not collect. Victoria Park and Lake Ridge are denser, with street parking deciding where the truck sits.
What Fort Lauderdale bulk pickup will and will not take
The rules, as Fort Lauderdale publishes them
WM has been the city’s environmental services provider since 2023, and bulk is collected once a month on your scheduled service day. The pile may be no larger than 10 cubic yards, which the city gives as approximately 6 feet wide, 15 feet long and 3 feet high. It goes to the curb by 7 a.m. on your pickup day and no earlier than 24 hours in advance; material placed more than 24 hours early, or left more than 24 hours after your scheduled pickup, can result in a citation. The pile has to sit in an accessible spot clear of parked cars, fences, trees, storm drains and power lines so the equipment can reach it. Tree stumps and any tree section longer than 12 feet are refused, and combining your pile with a neighbour’s is not permitted.

Where the free pickup runs out
Monthly collection plus a 24-hour set-out window is why so many swale piles here already have a citation attached. Renovation debris, stumps and long tree sections never qualify, and in an oceanfront tower there is no curb to use in the first place.

Fort Lauderdale junk removal questions
How often does Fort Lauderdale pick up bulk trash?
Once a month, on your scheduled service day, capped at 10 cubic yards, roughly 6 feet wide, 15 feet long and 3 feet high. More than 24 hours early or 24 hours late and the city can cite you for it. That is the gap same-day junk removal fills around a closing or a move-out date.
Can you work in an oceanfront or Las Olas tower?
Yes, booked to the building. Those associations want a certificate of insurance, a reserved freight elevator, elevator and floor protection and a dock time slot, and many prohibit weekend moves. Give us the building name and the paperwork goes in first. See condo and estate cleanouts.
