City of Boynton Beach Public Works provides weekly bulk trash and vegetation pickup to residential customers at no extra charge, but the caps are specific and small: up to three cubic yards of bulk trash, a separate three cubic yards of vegetation, and a maximum of ONE cubic yard of construction and demolition debris per week. Bulk trash and vegetation have to be in separate piles, and anything mixed in with the vegetation must be pulled back out by the resident before the crew will take it. Vegetation is cut to 4-foot lengths under 4 inches in diameter and set 3 feet clear of mailboxes, cars and bins. Set-out runs from 6 p.m. the day before to 6 a.m. on pickup day. Stumps and trunks over four feet require a special pickup, and more than three cubic yards of vegetation may only go out during the city’s amnesty week.
